When women support each other incredible things happen.

June rolled around fast and we’re almost halfway through it.

A few new client leads came through as I returned from Australia. The most exciting news, by far, was the “fun work” offer from Pam Sogge to be her Assistant Director this year, at Firefly Institute’s Women’s Photography Camp. My dear friend Hillary Sloss held Firefly’s first photography camp last year at the beautiful Westerbeke Ranch in Sonoma. It was five days of top notch teaching, a beautiful poolside setting, amazing food and a group of kind, creative women. That’s how I became a part of this collective. Thanks Kristina Rust! Speaking of which, she’ll be a counselor this year. I’m looking forward to seeing all of you in the collective who are coming back. It was so relaxing and inspiring, I’m excited to help Pam create another magical experience. I’m equally looking forward to hanging out with all of you again. If five days of photography, great women, wine and food sounds good to you, we still have some spots open. Camp is from October 11th-15th and registration is happening now. Think about giving yourself permission to invest in your photography and yourself for five days.

To kick that off, I’ve dedicated this month’s 10-on-10 to all the women from camp last year. Please check out Katrina Kennedy’s post (another Firefly Camper) about her sweet niece’s wedding. Her photos really feel and speak to women’s love wrapping around each other during important times.
